DUPLEX & SUPER DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL PLATES
Our range of duplex and super duplex stainless steels is engineered for strength, durability, and excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. These grades are widely used in industries such as oil & gas, chemical processing, marine, and desalination. Available as cut-to-size pieces or full loose plates — ready to meet the demands of your project.

DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL - SS31803 / 2205
SS31803, also known as 2205, is the most commonly used duplex stainless steel on the market. It offers a unique combination of high strength and good corrosion resistance, outperforming many standard austenitic grades like 316L.
Key Benefits:
- Excellent resistance to uniform and localized corrosion
- Good performance against stress corrosion cracking (SCC)
- High mechanical strength
- Cost-effective alternative to higher alloyed materials
- Ideal for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and structural components
SUPER DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL - SS32750
SS32750 is a super duplex stainless steel designed for more extreme environments. It offers significantly enhanced resistance to corrosion and greater mechanical strength compared to standard duplex grades.
Key Benefits:
- PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) of 40–45
- Superior resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking
- Higher yield strength than 2205
- Proven performance in harsh chloride-containing environments
- Increasingly used in the Asia-Pacific region for applications like scrubbers, seawater handling, and offshore platforms
Choosing the Right Grade
- SS31803 / 2205 is ideal for most general-purpose applications where a balance of corrosion resistance and strength is needed.
- SS32750 is best suited for more aggressive conditions requiring top-tier performance.
Applications
- Chemical & Petrochemical Processing
- Offshore Oil & Gas
- Marine Equipment
- Pulp & Paper Industry
- Desalination Plants
- Scrubber Systems (Flue Gas Desulfurization)
